Supporting Staff Wellbeing During COVID
Thursday, 21 January 2021
11:00 - 11:45
Working in schools has long been a challenging occupation but perhaps never more so than in our current circumstances. The latest Labour Force Survey statistics suggest that the prevalence of work-related stress amongst teaching and education professionals is now 75% higher than average.
The latest national lockdown means that, once again, working parents are experiencing heightened difficulties balancing work and home life and the education sector is faced with the complex task of delivering remote learning for the majority whilst maintaining Covid-secure face-to-face provision for some.
The effect that the coronavirus outbreak is having on mental health is rarely out of the news but recognising the impact is, of course, only the start. This short webinar, which is
free to attend
, will focus on supporting staff wellbeing during the pandemic and its aftermath, covering:
- The legal duty of care
- The ‘business case’ for prioritising staff wellbeing
- Ideas for practical wellbeing strategies
- Harnessing absence management tools
- Creating a wellbeing culture
- Developing a wellbeing strategy for Covid and beyond
